TCH Dance Academy maintains a dress code to encourage improved concentration and allows the teacher to see how the dancers are using their muscles. Students are required to wear the proper clothing assigned to their level. Watches, jewelry, safety pins should not be worn to class. Dance shoes should never be worn outside.

Pink leotard - Pink footless tights - Bare feet - Hair in a bun

Pre Ballet:

Pink leotard - Pink tights - Pink ballet shoes - Hair in a bun

Ballet Levels I - Advanced:

Black leotard - Pink tights - Pink leather ballet shoes (no canvas) - Hair in a bun

Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary and Modern and Tap:

A solid colored leotard - Transition tights your choice of tan, black or pink, or black dance pants, shorts, or capri pant - Hair tightly secured off face and neck

Shoes:

Children’s Jazz, Hip Hop, Junior Jazz, Senior Jazz:

Capezio EJ2 this is a slip on jazz shoe in carmel/tan with a thin cushioned heel

Lyrical/Contemporary:

Any nude foot paws or foot undies

Modern:

Bare feet with convertible or footless tights

Children’s Tap:

Black patent leather tie up

All other Youth Tap:

Tan buckle low heel, full soled shoe with screw in taps (please no nailed in taps)

Adult Ballet or Ballet Workout:

Females: A solid color leotard and tights, skirt and pink ballet shoes

Males: White dance shirt, black tights or fitness attire, white ballet shoes and socks

Adult Tap:

Any comfortable attire, pants should not go past the ankle

Any tap shoe with a full sole with screw in taps (please no nailed in taps)
