MATERIALS FEES are paid to the instructor at the first class session. (Please DO NOT include them with your Registration Fee.)

BUILDING PRESERVATION FEE FOR THE HISTORIC COMMUNITY HOUSE
Did you know that The Community House is a nonprofit organization and cannot function without the support of the community? It costs $1,600 per day to open our doors for programs, classes and events. The Community House does not receive any tax dollars or funding from United Way. It depends totally on your generosity to offset its operating and facility expenses. Beginning Spring 2009, all classes and special events will include a $1 Building Preservation Fee per class and/or special event and a $3 fee per class series. Please know that we sincerely appreciate your patronage of our programs and services.

INSUFFICIENT ENROLLMENT If the class you have chosen is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, you will be notified by phone and reimbursed in full.

STORMY WEATHER? To find out if classes have been cancelled due to the weather, tune in to WJR-760 AM or call the Community House at 248.644.5832.

YOU FIND YOU MUST DROP? Contact the Program Department immediately at 248.644.5832 for information on refunds or credits. (Refunds or credits for a multiple session class will only be given prior to the second class. Participants will be charged for the class attended. For all one session classes you must drop before 12 p.m. (noon) the day prior to the class starting in order to receive a refund. If you call past the deadline, you may only receive a credit. Drops with refunds will incur a $5 handling fee.)

DONATIONS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED. Ever wonder why our classes are so reasonable? That's because the fees don't actually cover the cost of our educational programs. When making your payment, please consider making a donation in addition to the class amount.
