Green lectures are scheduled throughout the day, at no charge. Lectures will take place from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm at 241 Merrill (inside the former Waterworks space).

SOCWA, SE Oakland Water Authority: Lillian Dean and Candy Sweeney address green gardening with compost for pest and disease prevention and water quality protection.
In additon, there will be plenty of free activities for children to explore while improving their green world including Peace Love and Planet, which will be teaching kids how to create flowers out of repurposed plastics, and Handmade Detroit which will be coordinating green crafting activities with kids.
