Purpose
The Community House Senior Women’s Club, founded in 1993, is a club for all women over the age of 50. The purpose of the club is to provide fellowship, programs and activities for the membership. Membership
The membership dues are $35.00 per year, payable by December 31st of the current year for the following year. There is an additional $10.00 late fee for those members mailing checks after December 31 st. The dues are prorated for members joining throughout the year. At the end of 2008 we had 500 members.
Meetings
The SWC meets at The Community House on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. During the month of October the Art Show at TCH sometimes preempts us, and we meet only on the fourth Tuesday. We have a meeting on the second Tuesday during the months of November and December. The meetings begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. with brief announcements, and the program for the day is introduced. A luncheon is served following the program.
Guests are always welcome (with the exception of the yearly Fashion Show). SWC members are encouraged to bring guests. After two meetings, it is suggested that a guest consider SWC membership. Applications for membership are available at the meetings, upon request at TCH Reception Desk or by clicking on the Application link.

Interest Groups
TCHSWC offers participation in the following Interest Groups: Book Club, Bridge, Golf, Mahjong, Movies, Pinochle, Singles, and Tennis. Only SWC members may belong to these groups. You may learn more about these groups by clicking on the Vision link.
Vision Newsletter
The Vision Newsletter is published six times a year in the months of February, April, June, August, October, and December. The newsletter contains information about upcoming programs, current interest groups, special events, luncheon procedures and menus, new members and a message from the president plus other miscellaneous items.
