Artists will be notified of the jury results by email (or direct mail, if an email is not provided) by Wednesday, August 22nd.

The 33rd annual OUR TOWN Art Show & Sale is hosted by The Community House in downtown Birmingham. This juried, all media art show provides a forum for Michigan artists to show and sell their work. The OUR TOWN Art Show & Sale includes paintings, pastels, sculptures, glassworks, fiber works, photography, jewelry and mixed media. Thirty-five percent of the proceeds from the art sales will be used to fund The Community House outreach programs for adults and children.

OUR TOWN kicks off with the Opening Night Party, 6:00 pm-9:00 pm on Thursday, November 1st. The evening includes strolling hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine and cocktails, and the first opportunity to preview and purchase art. Friend tickets, with admission at 6:00 pm, are $75. Benefactor tickets, with admission at 5:30 pm start at $250. Following the Opening Night Party, the Show will be open to the public free of charge on Friday, November 2nd from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm and Saturday, November 3rd from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm.

 

Parking

Free parking is available for the first two hours in the Chester Street Structure and all other Birmingham parking structures. There is also metered parking across from The Community House at $2.00 an hour (limit 4 hours). Parking is free on Sundays in all parking structures and meters. Revised Parking Map
