Responsible for coordinating all guest and volunteer services. This position is the first point of contact; daily greeting and providing information to our guests, teachers, and volunteers. The Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all front desk activities including: scheduling and overseeing front desk staff, answering incoming calls, contacting The Community House staff when visitors arrive, notifying staff of any emergency situation that arises, overseeing related budget, and assisting other departments with clerical needs. This position is also responsible for coordinating the volunteers including: recruiting and interviewing prospective volunteers, training and educating volunteers, matching volunteers to work activities and events, and overseeing volunteer incentive and recognition.

TCH Dance Academy is seeking experienced and creative Dance Instructors for the 2017-2018 Season. We are looking for energetic and vibrant dance teachers to instruct students of all ages, including toddler to adult. Instructors must be proficient in Pointe or Tap and one of the following: Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Parent & Me, Creative Movement, or Hip Hop. Preferred availability to teach week nights along with Friday/Saturday day time hours.
The Community House and The Community House Foundation is seeking a highly responsible and self-motivated Major Gifts Officer Intermediate to provide the highest level of excellence and professionalism in planning and implementing a significant portion of the Foundation’s major gifts program with a primary focus on individual prospects capable of making gift commitments of $25,000 or more. A key component of the position will be discovery visits.
The selected candidate will collaborate with internal and external constituents of The Community House and The Community House Foundation to raise funds that support both entities. The Major Gifts Officer will gain a comprehensive understanding of The Community House/Community House Foundation’s funding priorities and the interests of potential donors in order to persuasively articulate both entities’ comprehensive needs to prospects while developing strong professional partnerships with leadership, development staff and volunteers.
The Major Gifts Officer will work in a highly collaborative environment with colleagues in The Community House, The Community House Foundation and other departments across the organization.
The Community House (TCH) is currently seeking a Full-time Early Childhood Teacher responsible for team-teaching alongside the Lead Teacher and with other teachers. Together staff is responsible for implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum using the High/Scope curriculum in accordance with the philosophy of the Early Childhood Center and state licensing regulations. The Center is open Monday – Friday from 7am-6pm.
