Director, 21st Century Leaders (Casual Part-time)

The Community House (TCH) is seeking a Part-time Director for our 21st Century Leaders Program responsible for guiding 7th grade middle school students through the discovery and confidence stages of developing their own leadership skills through various problem-solving and self-awareness activities. Students reside in the Metro Detroit area and meet as a class 3-4 times per month over the course of the school year.

Building Superintendent – Afternoon (Full-time, Non-Exempt)

The Community House (TCH) is seeking a full-time Building Superintendent to work afternoons including Saturday.  This position is responsible for maintenance and minor repairs of building, grounds and equipment; ensuring safety and security of building; performing work; supervising housekeeping and operations staff; and assisting with management of outside contractors.


The Community House (TCH) is currently seeking an experienced Accounting Administrator to join our team.  This opportunity is available immediately and will involve a unique blend of payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other special accounting projects.


The Community House (TCH) is currently seeking a Full-time Early Childhood Teacher responsible for team-teaching alongside the Lead Teacher and with other teachers.  Together staff is responsible for implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum using the High/Scope curriculum in accordance with the philosophy of the Early Childhood Center and state licensing regulations.  The Center is open Monday – Friday from 7am-6pm.


The Community House is currently seeking substitute teachers to work in our Early Childhood Center. The Early Childhood Center serves children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age. The Center is open Monday through Friday from 7am to 6pm.


TCH Dance Academy is seeking enthusiastic and experienced Dance Instructors for the 2016-2017 season. We are looking for energetic and vibrant dance teachers to instruct children ages 12 & under in Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Ballet, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Mommy & Me, and Creative Movement. Opportunity to teach adult ballet and tap also available.
